Description of work
A site-specific installation during a residency with LKV, Trondheim , Norway. In their gallery, 'Babel' daisy chains of solar cells were taped to the windows , they fed a trickle of current to 13 very small motors attached to custom-made wooden machines. By way of gearing and very strong string these machines slowly dragged 3 stacks of furniture across the gallery, at about 9 inches per day. By the last, ( 7th) day the furniture had been cleared away from the entry door by 4 to 6 feet.
