Description of work
A site-specific work for the Grove St annex of the San Francisco Arts Commission as part of the festival, ’Chain reaction’. This gallery is a closed space seen 24/7 through the street window.
A collaboration with Elaine Buckholtz ( video projection and lighting) and Floor Vahn ( music and soundtrack).
An asymmetrical matrix made with discarded light tubes and clear packaging tape. A cabinet at the back of the gallery opens into the back room with a tunnel containing smaller, lit tubes.
Materials used
fluorescent tubes, furniture, packaging tape, chalk powder, wood, projector,
