2009

A site-specific installation during a residency with LKV, Trondheim , Norway. In their gallery, Babel, daisy chains of solar cells were taped to the windows; they fed a trickle of current to thirteen very small motors attached to custom-made wooden machines. By way of gearing and very strong string these machines slowly dragged three stacks of furniture across the gallery, at about nine inches per day. By the last, ( 7th) day the furniture had been cleared away from the entry door by 4 to 6 feet.
